My last major project asked us to create a 100 metre pathway. My only other parameters were that it had to be located on a 30 degree sloped valley, and it had to share a story of colour.
My pathway tunnels through the slope on the northern side of the valley in order to take advantage of the maximal sun exposure. The windows are tinted with the pure colours of the visible spectrum and decrease in size according to the golden ration (1:1.68 for you DaVinci Code buffs) as the actual wavelengths of light decrease. The interior surfaces are mirrored to reflect the coloured light streaming in.
The final model is far more impressive that this computer model I put together super quickly because you can actually see the colour reflecting off the floor and curved wall.
